Cute & Inexpensive Christmas Gifts – Felt Freshener Ornaments!

November 10, 2020 by Laura Leave a Comment

It’s always fun to find (or even better, MAKE!) cute & inexpensive Christmas gifts! Our felt blanks make great car air fresheners, but they can also be used as gift tags or tree ornaments!

TIP: These would be a great addition for holiday craft fairs, too! Sublimate a batch and use heat transfer vinyl to personalize on site!

We have a added selection of holiday themed felt blanks to the Candyland Studio shop.

Any of these would be adorable for a Secret Santa Gift, for teachers, neighbors, nieces and nephews…you name it!

You can decorate your sublimation blanks however you like, but this Gingerbread Man/Woman Digital Bundle will give you a head start on some print ready designs!

(If you are new to sublimating felt blanks, you should check out this tutorial where I walk you through how I make my felt air fresheners! Or, if you don’t have sublimation equipment you can use fabric paint or inkjet transfers, too!)

You can leave them unscented, or if you’re feeling really festive you could add some fragrance oil after pressing your felt blanks! Here are a few scent ideas: (Some of the links below are affiliate links for your convenience.)

  • Christmas Tree Fragrance Oil
  • Gingerbread Fragrance Oil
  • Candy Cane Fragrance Oil
  • Snow Fairy Fragrance Oil
  • Christmas Sampler Fragrance Oil – Christmas Wreath, Mistletoe, Candy Cane, Gingerbread, Cinnamon, and Cranberry
  • Winter Essential Oils Set -Cinnamon, Clove, Peppermint, Pine, Nutmeg & Fir

I love these Transfer Pipettes for applying oils to finished felt air fresheners. These tiny spray bottles  are perfect if you want to include a scent refresher. You might want to grab some packaging bags if you are gifting or selling for a finishing touch!
