  1. I love this planter! Could you share where you found the diamond vinyl pattern for the queen of hearts? Was the watch and the Alice cut out also vinyl? Did you buy these or somehow print them on your home printer? In honor of my late father – who loved Disney World – and helped us plant the first trees at our new house – we are putting Alice in Wonderland signs on a tree (Up, Down, This Way. That Way . . . Joe’s Grove in the middle). I want to put something like this planter next to the tree with the signs

    1. Hi! What a great idea and tribute for your father! I cut the decals on my vinyl cutter. I think I found some free SVGs online, but I’ve also seen some on Etsy. The diamond are individual pieces that I placed by hand…they didn’t turn out perfectly, but from a distance you can hardly tell. =D

      1. Since it seems that everyone is asking about the decals and that was going to be my question- would you consider making some more for purchase?

    1. Hi Renee! Sorry for the delayed response, the notification of your comment got stuck in my spam filter! I cut the stickers myself. I think I found free svgs online, or I think I’ve seen files available on Etsy as well. Hope that helps!

    1. Hi Susan! I made the decals myself on my vinyl cutter. I think I found some free SVGs online, but I’m pretty sure there are also some on Etsy. The diamonds were individual pieces that I placed by hand…they weren’t perfect, but they looked pretty good from a distance! =D

  2. If you didn’t use vinyl decals, would you still have used Modge Podge or used only the sealer? I’m going to make a topsy turvy flower pot stand but instead of the Alice In Wonderland theme, I’m going to do Mickey&Friends( Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Pluto and Daisy). Do you think the pots may have been easier to tilt if you used either 1/4″ – 1/2″ width rebar instead of the 3/4″?
I love how your potter turned out. It’s stunning and I’m sure you’ve had many compliments. Thank you for your help.

    1. Hey! Thanks for the nice comments. =) I would love to see your finished project, it sounds like it will be really cute, too!! I think I probably would use some kind of sealer, either Mod Podge or I have a spray acrylic sealer that I like. Or maybe if you use outdoor acrylic or spray paints you wouldn’t need it? Not sure. I’d read the directions of the paint you use and go by that. You would probably get more tilt with a thinner rod, but I think if I did it again I would use a much larger pot on the bottom, then size accordingly going up. Hope that helps!
