Holiday Fragrances By COTY

January 5, 2017 by Laura Leave a Comment

I enjoy being a product tester for several reasons.  Not only do I get to try great products for free or at a discount, but most of the time it’s products I may not have thought to try otherwise. Then there are those times when I get to try something that I discover I love!

Holiday Fragrances by COTY

When I was selected to review the Holiday Fragrances by COTY through Smiley360 I was skeptical as I’m not a HUGE fragrance fan. But, you never know, right? So I accepted the mission and waited for the samples to arrive.

Holiday Fragrances by COTY Smiley360 Mission Kit

My husband and 7 year old daughter were with me when the kit arrived so I had them smell the fragrances as well. These are our collective thoughts:

Nautica Voyage – I was hoping my husband would like this one, but he took one whiff and promptly said, “Nope. I don’t like it.” My daughter and I felt rather “meh” about it. I didn’t think it was bad, but it definitely wasn’t my favorite.

Katy Perry Mad Potion – We all liked this fragrance, and I thought for sure my daughter would love this just because she loves Katy Perry, but this was not her #1 pick.

Vera Wang Embrace Marigold & Gardenia – Normally I don’t think of myself as a fan of floral fragrances. However, we all loved it! This was our favorite of the three, and my daughter loved it so much I used my Kohl’s Cash to get her a full bottle for a Christmas gift. Can’t beat another free item, right?! (Alternatively, if you have an Ebates account you could order online from Kohl’s and get 3% back!)

So, it was Vera Wang for the win!
