Girl Scout Cookie Thank You Tags – Free Printable

February 7, 2018 by Laura 54 Comments

I found a way to make our cookie deliveries so much easier – Girl Scout Cookie Thank You Tags! Simply print, cut, fill out, and attach to your bags. You can even have your Girl Scout sign their name or a quick note at the bottom.

Girl Scout Cookie Thank You Tags with Holes

My oldest daughter has been in Girl Scouts for a few years (she’s now a Brownie.) However, this was our first year going door to door. It was SUPER cold outside, but we decided to give it a shot. The girls were excited, and were pretty good sports about it! We geared up with hats, gloves, scarves and boots and Daddy followed along in the truck. LOL

I tried to prep the girls just in case someone turned them down. Surprisingly, EVERYONE we talked to bought at least one box or donated to the troops, which was super nice of them. Especially the houses that had their own scouts!

To make things easier for delivery I created thank you tags to attach to each bag. The last couple years we only sold to friends and family and I used sticky notes. That works fine, but this year I wanted to make something a little cuter, and more professional. =)

I printed them on card stock, completed one for each order, cut them apart and punched a hole with plans to use ribbon to tie them onto the bags.

I left the bottom area blank on the free printable so you can have your child sign their name and Troop number at the bottom too. If your scout is old enough they can do most/all of the work!

I just had a thought! If you don’t want to print and DIY, you could order business cards and divide among your troop! (Let me know if you want me to create a file for that!)

Link QR Codes to
Digital Cookie Site

I geeked out a bit…I made custom QR code stickers to attach to each box so customers can simply scan with with their smartphone cameras (or QR code app) and go directly to each girls’ Digital Cookie website to order more!

The stickers are easily removable and don’t leave any residue if customers are gifting cookies and don’t want a sticker, so no worries!

You can get a free QR code at QR Code Generator, and you might try this removable sticker paper. (I have not used that product myself, but it seems like a nice option and has good reviews…I would love to hear if you give it a shot!)

Another Girl Scout Cookie Sales Tool

With two girl scouts (my youngest is a brand new Daisy!) cookie time is even more hectic! I’m trying to keep things as organized and easy as possible.

I made these reference card lanyards for the girls to wear while going door to door to help remind them of all the important info they would need; They proved to be quite handy during our door-to-door sales!

I LOVE these tags!! We used ones I found on Pinterest for our Daisy troop this year but I’ve already printed yours and we will definitely be using these for next year!! I love that you can go ahead and put the order on them, will make organizing the orders soooo much faster than trying to read the chart with older eyes!

I’m so glad you like them!! They have been most helpful in keeping our orders nice and organized. I printed larger versions (half page) when sorting for each girl. Really makes it easy! 🙂

Am I able to add the “Daisy Troop with the petals logo’ at the bottom of each card? I like your thank you cards most from what I’ve found!

Hi Eve!I am only now seeing your comment…the notification must’ve gone to my spam filter. Eek! Sorry about that!

I’m so glad you like the thank you card! =D I left the bottom blank (and no daisy petals) on the printables so it wasn’t limited for only Daisy Troops. I figured girls could sign their name/troop number. Or, if you have an editing program you could probably add the petals and info fairly easily.

      Hope that helps!

So I see an updated card for 2019 (ABC baker) for me it just lists Caramel Delites twice and doesn’t have the GF Caramel Chocolate Chip cookies. Am I clicking the wrong thing?

Also – I’m hoping you could add a spot for donated cookies? We have a couple people who donated cookies in addition to their own cookies I think your cute thank you tags could serve as a nice reminder that they still need to be paid for even though no cookies are being physically delivered.

Hi Sandy! So glad you like the tags!! The material I used for the QR code stickers is actually a large format commercial material I use in my print shop so it’s not something that is available or compatible with regular desktop or inkjet printers. However, you might try something like this removable sticker paper: https://amzn.to/2V3KlAA I have not used that product myself, but it seems like a nice option and has good reviews…I would love to hear if you give it a shot!

I was here looking for the same thing! The reason you cant find any info on the new LBB cookie is because they are keeping it secret until cookie season officially begins. But Savannah Smiles are gone and the new ones are called Lemon Ups. 😊

I used these last year and loved them. I would like my whole troop to use them this year.

Hi these tags are amazing ❤️ Thank you soo much. I was just wondering if you could pleaseee help me customize one 🙏🏻 I will buy you a coffee 😬 I am asking,

    – Can you put my daughters name and troop at the bottom like the pic at the top of the page “ ❤️ Audriana and Troop 900”
    – Can you get rid of raspberry rallies. Our council only has them for direct ship only and half of our customers don’t even know they exist
    – Can you put the cookies in the same order as the order card. We are lbb so it would be Adventurefuls, Lemon-Ups, Trefoils, Do-si-dos, Samoas, Tagalongs, Thin Mints, S’mores, Toffee-tastic, Donated Boxes

Thank you in advance. I would be sooo grateful I tried to edit it myself and it came out horrible 😫

Hi Carole! Unfortunately I do not have time this year to do a full rework on the layouts or any custom requests. I am trying to get a new option up without the raspberry rallies soon though. I’m not sure what design program you use, but maybe try Canva? I don’t personally use it much, but have heard it’s very easy. Perhaps next year I can try to make a template available so troops can customize themselves. ♥
